  • Yes! Nourish is in-network with Aetna, and has partnered with The Lactation Network to file health insurance claims on our behalf. We currently do not accept Medicaid.

    Aetna members can contact us directly to schedule an appointment.

    Members of BCBS PPO, Anthem BCBS PPO, Cigna PPO, Humana PPO, VA-CCN or have a plan with any Provider Network of America logo or a Multiplan logo can request lactation benefits summary at The Lactation Network here.

    We always recommend that you call your insurance to see if they have an IBCLC in-network within 30 miles of you. If there isn’t anyone available, ask for an out-of-network gap exception and pre-authorization so you can work with our team.

  • Yes! If you choose to pay up front, we can provide a superbill by request to file for possible reimbursement from your health insurance or health sharing plan.

  • All our consults are by appointment only. Office hours are typically Monday - Saturday 9am to 3pm.

  • Nourish accepts all major debit and credit cards as methods of payment. We also accept HSA and FSA’s.

  • Health insurance cannot be billed for missed appointments. It is therefore important to be familiar with our cancellation policy. These policies apply to all Nourish clients.

    -A card on file and a $50 deposit is required at time of booking.

    -Cancellations within 24 hours of appointment time are charged 50% of the consultation fee.

    -‘No Show’s’ are charged the full consultation fee.

    -Appointment further than 24hrs away may be rescheduled for no fee. Keep in mind that we typically have a 1-2 week wait and may not be able to offer another appointment within the same week.

    -If documentation sent at the time of appointment has not been electronically completed and returned by 8pm the evening prior to the consult, your visit may be canceled and offered to the next client on the waiting list.

    -The consultation fee will be charged the day of appointment to the card on file.

  • Nourish offers prenatal lactation education and postpartum infant feeding support , including breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and pumping. Although each case is unique, we generally follow an order to our consults to ensure that all questions and concerns are fully addressed. Click here to learn more!

  • The total amounts of consults you will need to reach your goals will vary greatly depending on the dyad and symptoms presented. Typically, families are under our care for several months.

  • Clients (parent and infant/child), and a support person are welcomed to attend the consultation. If additional children need to be present, we respectfully request that a second adult be present to attend and supervise children so our clients can be provided the best of care and focus.

  • Make a list of all of your questions so you can get the most out of your consultation.

    Bring your breast pump, bottles or any other feeding device you are using except breastfeeding pillows (we have plenty of them!)

    If applicable, bring any supplementation milk that you are using.

    Bring your baby ready to feed, but not super hungry. If needed, just feed enough to hold them over.

  • Every Nourish client receives access to our private messaging portal, where our IBCLC’s are always available to answer questions and concerns. Access to our messaging portal is provided to new clients once deposit is received and an appointment has been scheduled.
