Breastfeeding Support
From in-home consults to appointments in our family-friendly office in Greenville, our IBCLC’s will help you figure out what you and baby need to meet your breastfeeding goals.
All of our services are available in English, Spanish and via Tele-Health.
Initial Consult
This consults usually lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, and can be in our office located in Greenville, SC or in-home (within the first two weeks from birth). During these consults, our lactation consultants:
Perform a detailed analysis of your pregnancy, birth and feeding history.
Recommend and support re-lactation strategies
Observe and assess a feeding session.
Evaluate any tissue trauma and offer recommendations.
Determine pre and post milk transfer with our medical-grade infant scale.
Perform an oral functional and structural evaluation on baby.
Provide a customized lactation care plan for the immediate period and recommend follow-up consults as needed to reach your infant feeding goals.
A report to your health care provider(s) can be sent upon request via telephone, and/or email. The initial consultation fee includes ongoing follow-up via our private client messaging portal or email until your reason for seeking the consultation is resolved. Any new concerns for current clients will require a new follow-up consultation.

Follow-up Consult
This visit usually lasts about 1 hour. During these consults, our lactation consultants:
Observe and assess a feeding session.
Evaluate any new trauma, assess healing of previous trauma and offer recommendations.
Determine pre and post milk transfer with our medical-grade infant scale.
Re-evaluate oral motor function.
Adjust previous lactation care plan to help you reach your individual feeding goals.

*Deposit required. No show or Cancellations less than 24 hours before scheduled time will be subject to 100% fee for the consult.
