Rachel Barrett - Client Experience & Community Coordinator

Rachel serves as the Client Experience & Community Coordinator at Nourish Integrative Lactation & Wellness. Often one of the first points of connection for families reaching out to Nourish, Rachel helps make the experience of finding care, getting scheduled, and navigating the details along the way feel as easy and welcoming as possible.

Rachel brings a strong background in both healthcare and relationship-centered support to her role. Prior to joining Nourish, she worked as a Medical Assistant and Health Coach in a local family practice, where she supported multiple healthcare providers while helping patients navigate everything from scheduling and communication to treatment plans, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. Her experience working directly with patients taught her the importance of making people feel heard, cared for, and confident about what comes next.

She also has several years of experience in nonprofit and ministry coordination, where she managed large events, travel logistics, communications, social media, and countless behind-the-scenes details. That combination of organization, problem-solving, and genuine connection with people makes Rachel a natural fit for the many hats she wears at Nourish.

In her role as Client Experience & Community Coordinator, Rachel helps support families from their very first interaction with Nourish while also helping strengthen our connections within the Upstate community. Whether she is answering a question, helping a family find the right appointment, coordinating an event, or connecting with one of our community partners, Rachel brings warmth, thoughtfulness, and a calm presence to everything she does.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science from Clemson University in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management with a concentration in Community Recreation and Sport Camp Management and a minor in Nonprofit Leadership. She also completed her Health Coach Certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She loves being part of a team centered around caring for mothers, babies, and families and helping create the kind of experience where people feel genuinely welcomed and supported from the moment they connect with Nourish.

Rachel lives in Greenville with her husband and daughter and loves being part of the Upstate community she helps serve through her work at Nourish.
